  • How many beneficiaries will be selected?
16 beneficiaries will be selected per Bootcamp, i.e. 8 music artists and 8 managers. In all, 32 beneficiaries will take part in the Bootcamps (16 in Lagos and 16 in Abuja).
  • Who can apply?
The Amplify Bootcamps are intended for professional musical artists and their managers. Each application therefore counts for an Artist/Manager duo.
  • Can I apply if I'm an artist but I don't have a manager?
Yes, if you don't have a manager you can still apply as an artist, and if you're selected, you can take part in the Amplify Bootcamp as a solo artist.
  • Can I apply for both Amplify Bootcamps?
No, you have to apply in either Lagos or Abuja, depending on how close you are to your place of residence. Both Amplify Bootcamps will follow the same program.
  • Can I bring my team/band?
The Amplify Bootcamps are intended for Artist/Manager duos or Artist alone. If you are part of a group, only the lead artist and his/her manager will be able to benefit from the Bootcamp.
  • Can I apply if I’m a Dj or a music producer ?
Unfortunately, this particular bootcamp is not targeting Djs or music producers. There will be more opportunities coming for Nigerian Djs and music producers by the French Embassy in Nigeria in the future.
  • Can I be signed to a label?
Yes, it is possible to be signed to a label and apply to the Amplify Bootcamp.
  • What is covered for beneficiaries during the Amplify Bootcamp?
On-site accommodation and all meals are provided for all participants throughout the duration of the Bootcamp. No additional cost will be covered.
  • Can I take part in other activities/events during the Bootcamp?
The Amplify Bootcamp is intense, with modules running from morning to evening, Monday to Friday included. Selected participants must attend all modules or risk permanent exclusion from the program. The Amplify Bootcamp is not compatible with other activities (or work) taking place at the same time. Participants are therefore asked to apply only if they are sure they will be able to attend the entire Amplify Bootcamp and be fully committed until the end.
  • Can I apply if I don’t live in Lagos or Abuja?
Yes, you can apply from wherever you are in Nigeria. The Bootcamp is providing food and accommodation on site.
  • Can I decide not to stay in my accommodation during the Bootcamp?
Yes, you can decide to go home in the evening if you don't live far away. However, no lateness will be tolerated, both for artists and managers, and for the smooth running of the Amplify Bootcamp, any lateness will result in permanent exclusion from the program.
