MIFA Pitch Workshop

Every year since 2022, the French Embassy organizes a one week training with French and Nigerian experts to teach selected Nigerian animation project holders how to pitch their project to investors. At the end of the week, a presentation and pitch simulation is organised in front of an audience of animation professionals.

Nigerian Delegations at MIFA

In June, the French Embassy organizes a Nigerian booth at the MIFA (International animation film festival) in Annecy, France, with close to 20 Nigerian animation studios represented. The delegation of selected project holders, who have benefited from the training, are invited to take part and present their project to investors as part of the MIFA pitch partners.

Nigerian Delegations at MIPJUNIOR

Every year in October in Cannes, France, MIPJUNIOR hosts in-person networking, pitching, conferences and content discovery through the world's largest Screenings Library of Kids content and co-production market. The French Embassy brings a Nigerian delegation every year to boost international exports.
